Round 1: Does your Gray Matter?

Date - October 20, 2022

We know Victoria’s secret, do you?

The quiz will judge participants on sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and social entrepreneurship concepts. Accuracy and speed both will be taken into account for evaluation. This is an eliminatory round and the top teams will move on to the second stage. Brace yourselves to unlock knowledge at the speed of thought!

Round 2: That Elevator (pitch) can Take you Places!

Executive Summary Submission Round

Date - October 25, 2022

Get in that elevator but don’t forget to press the ‘social impact’ button!

Registered teams will compete against each other in a display of creativity and clarity of thought. In this round, participants are tasked with explaining the idea in an Executive Summary, answering the questions - What is the existing gap or problem that you are solving? What is your solution/idea/product? What is your revenue model?


Guidelines for Round 2 -

Maximum words - 400

  • The submission should be a one-pager, Font –Times New Roman, Size – 11, Line spacing – 1 with Normal Margins (2.54 cm by 2.54 cm).

  • Only PDF file formats will be accepted for the executive summary submission.

  • Please name your file in the following format- Team Name_Team Leader’s Name_R2.pdf For example, if you have been registered under Team Name Swiggy and Team Leader Name Ramakanth Verma, your one-pager should be named as Swiggy_Ramakanth Verma_R2.pdf

Round 3: Pitch it or Ditch it

Date - October 30, 2022

Slide Presentation and Pitching Round

Shortlisted teams will have to prepare a 3-slide presentation (excluding an introductory slide mentioning the idea) covering the aspects of impact assessment, revenue model, and how will they fund their startup. The teams will get an opportunity to present their idea before the esteemed judge panel.

Guidelines for Round 3 -

  • Only .PDF file formats will be accepted.

  • The submission should not be more than ‘3 slides’ excluding an introductory slide that will give a brief overview of the idea being presented.

  • Please name your file in the following format- Team Name_Team Leader’s Name_R3.pdf For example, if you have been registered under Team Name Swiggy and Team Leader Name Ramakanth Verma, your one-pager should be named as Swiggy_Ramakanth Verma_R3.pdf

  • The following aspects should be included in the presentation -

  1. Product or service description (including the status of development- beta, prototype, etc.)

  2. Customer/Market analysis (market size and potential market share)

  3. Predicted Financial highlights/The offering of the company (initial investment you’re seeking, how do you plan on using the investment in the next 2 years, predicted profitability of your idea, possible exits)

  4. How is your idea socially-conscious/sustainable? What impact is it creating? (impact assessment of the idea)


Eligibility

1. The event is open to teams comprising students, corporate professionals, entrepreneurs as well as other independent individuals (employed or self-employed).

2. A team can have a minimum of one and a maximum of five members.

3. Members can be from any organization.

4. All the members may not be from the same organization/college, cross-college teams are allowed.
